Ticket Bazaar is a peer-to-peer ticket resale platform based in Mumbai, India, operated by Atrina Technologies Pvt Ltd. Founded in 2025, it enables individuals to resell unused event tickets at or below face value (MRP) through an escrow-protected payment system.
The platform was created to address the problem of ticket wastage in India, where an estimated 30% or more of purchased event tickets go unused due to plan changes, emergencies, or scheduling conflicts. Rather than letting tickets go to waste, users can list them for resale to verified buyers at discounted prices.
Key features include zero commission for sellers (sellers retain 100% of the listed price), manual verification of every ticket before listing, escrow-held payments released only after buyer confirms event entry, and end-to-end physical ticket logistics (pickup from seller, delivery to buyer) in Mumbai.
Ticket Bazaar enforces a strict below-MRP pricing policy, meaning tickets cannot be listed above their original purchase price. This distinguishes the platform from ticket scalping operations and ensures pricing remains fair for buyers.
Is Ticket Resale Legal in India?
